Dr. Princess Edith Ngozi Ugwuanyi is more than just our Matron; she is a true source of inspiration and strength. With a heart full of compassion and a life dedicated to helping others, Dr. Ugwuanyi has touched so many lives in meaningful ways.

She holds a Doctorate in Health Administration, an MBA, and a Bachelor’s in Nursing. With 34 years of experience as a nurse, Dr. Ugwuanyi has spent her career caring for others, always striving to make people’s lives better. Her work at health fairs in Houston, Texas, has brought wellness and care to many, especially those who need it most.

Beyond healthcare, Dr. Ugwuanyi is passionate about her community and culture. As a leader in several organizations, she’s fought for women’s rights, cultural preservation, and unity. She was the first woman Vice President of the Enugu Province Union, empowering women to step into leadership roles. Her love for her Igbo heritage shines through her work with cultural groups and fundraising efforts to support her people back home in Nigeria.

Through her organization, the African Hope Foundation, Dr. Ugwuanyi has improved the lives of over 600,000 people across Nigeria. She has made sure communities have access to clean water, food safety, and better healthcare. She has provided scholarships and helped people gain skills that change their futures. Her foundation continues to help those in need, making a real difference in the lives of thousands.

Dr. Ugwuanyi has also been a voice for change in politics. She has run for office in Nigeria to fight for better governance, and she has supported Nigerian communities both at home and abroad. She’s worked with leaders, organized events, and built movements to help create positive change.

Her care for her community doesn’t stop with politics. She has supported countless families through scholarships, financial help, and relief during crises like the Covid-19 pandemic. Whether it’s helping local women and youth start small businesses or providing aid to those who need it most, Dr. Ugwuanyi’s kindness and support are endless.

As our Matron, Dr. Princess Edith Ngozi Ugwuanyi is a guiding light. Her life of service, her heart for others, and her commitment to making the world a better place inspire all of us. She is a true leader, and we are lucky to have her by our side.
